"I have always been passionate about solving difficult problems for those who are less privileged. Engineers Without Borders has provided me the opportunity to exactly that. Since joining as an undergraduate at UC Davis, I’ve contributed my expertise in water treatment and distribution toward helping a rural community in Northern Peru provide water for its growing population and toward improving wastewater treatment around Lake Atitlan in Guatemala that has been experiencing an algal bloom.”
